Tech University, Georgia State University, Marathon Recital in Rochester, NY, solo recitals at Seoul Arts Center, Maria Callas Hall, Seocho Art Hall and Kumho Arts Hall in Korea. A frequently sought-after orchestral violinist, Ryu had served as the concertmaster of Florida State University Symphony, Albany Symphony, Inchoen City Opera, Clamu Philharmonic and Seoul Pro-Musica Symphony Orchestras. She had performed as an assistant concertmaster of the North Florida Symphony, Tallahassee Symphony, and Pensacola Symphony Orchestras in the U.S. Ryu holds degrees from Seoul National University (BM), Eastman School of Music (MM) and Florida State University (DMA). In 2014, Ryu made Japan debut recital in Yokohama and had a charity concert for the earthquake damage in Tokyo. Ryu has served as a violin instructor at Soongsil Univ., Yewon School, Sunhwa Arts School, and the Academy of Seoul Arts Center.

Korean violinist Jiyeon Ryu has been praised by the Stad Magazine for her “exquisite musical talent” and “intense expressiveness.” She has claimed top prizes at such competitions as Kumho Prominent Young Artist Audition, Seoul Young Artist Ensemble Competition, Korean Music Journal Competition, and Korean Art Development Concour, Doctoral Concerto Competition in Florida State University. Ryu has appeared as a soloist with Seoul National Symphony, Clamu Philharmonic, University Symphony Orchestra of Florida State University, Em-Youn Festival Ensemble, Milllenium Ensemble and Seoul Art orchestras performing concertos by Bartok (No. 2), Mendelssohn, Brahms, Vieuxtemps (No. 5), Vivaldi, and Bach.
